Hi, my name is Nigel Hunt. I have been involved in computer graphics image-making since the early 1990's.

I have 25 years experience as a director/producer of film, visual effects and architectural visualisation on more than 2500 projects in 40 countries. My passion is filmmaking and development of technology to do more complicated work in less time with smaller teams. I believe transferring this knowledge to VR, AR and MR is key to future-proofing visual storytelling through captivating and immersive images and sound design.
I started my own studio in 1996 and ran this for 20 years in London, United Kingdom.
All of the work presented on the site has been creatively directed by me, but credit must be awarded to the many artists, directors and producers I employed and collaborated with over the years. Commercial image-making on scale is a team effort and one that requires artistic curiosity, technical know-how, diplomacy and people skills. I would like to think I've acquired and refined these characteristics. It's a rare privilege to have built a career from a hobby and be paid for it.
Now somewhat independent, I consult, mentor, direct and produce image-making projects around the world, collaborating with talented like-minded artists and studios.

I mentor young up and coming artists and studios who are starting out in the industry. I'm very happy to listen and advise on strategy when required. Additionally, I confidentially consult with established studios on industry business issues and practices. Sharing knowledge is important to the sustainability and growth of the industry.

I love working in production and remain very active and involved in directing and producing projects. Please see the Production and Consulting pages for more info.

Additionally, I'm a co-founder of SiNi Software, a fast-growing 3D software company focused on building the best tools and plugins for 3D artists working mainly in the architectural visualisation/AEC community.
Having spent my entire adult life in CGI, VFX and production, I see no sign of this slowing down!
I hope you find my work interesting. Thanks for stopping by,
Nigel.
